A new years eve party is always a big issue to the hostess. With these easy and tasty New Years Recipes you will have no problem. Impress your guests with amazing snacks!


Zesty Veggie Dipping Sauce New Years Recipe

 

What You Need:


  • 1 T brown mustard
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1 C prepared Ranch dressing
  • 1/8 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 t hot pepper sauce

How to Make It:


  1. Place the mustard in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Pour the lemon juice into the mustard.
  3. Add the Ranch dressing and mix to combine the ingredients well.
  4. Pour the Worcestershire sauce and the hot pepper sauce into the bowl.
  5. Whisk until all the ingredients are incorporated together well.
  6. Cover and refrigerate to chill completely through.

Serving Size:  1 C


Serve this dip with cut vegetables, large pretzels or tortilla chips.  It has a little bite but it's not overpowering. 


Baked Irish Dip New Years Recipe


What You Need:

 

  • 1/4 lb. deli corned beef, chopped
  • 1 1/2 C Swiss cheese, shredded and divided
  • 1/2 C Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 C sauerkraut, drained well

How to Make It:


  1. Place the chopped corned beef into a mixing bowl.
  2. Sprinkle in 1 C of the Swiss cheese.
  3. Add the dressing and the cream cheese.
  4. Mix the ingredients together until the cream cheese is creamy.
  5. Set the oven temperature to 400 degrees and allow the oven to heat up.
  6. Spread the corned beef mixture into a 9 in pie plate.
  7. Spread the sauerkraut over the top.
  8. Sprinkle on the remaining Swiss cheese being sure to cover the top completely.
  9. Bake 12 minutes or until bubbly around the edges.

Serving Size:  2 C


Use this dip as a spread on cocktail rye bread.  To use as a dip toast and cube rye bread and supply party toothpicks for dipping.  Pretzels or pretzel crackers also work well with this dip. 


Coconut Shrimp Cheese Spread


What You Need:

 

  • 1 (8 oz) container pineapple cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 C peach preserves
  • 2 T cocktail sauce
  • 1 (4 oz) bag cooked salad shrimp, thawed and drained well
  • 2 green onions, slice thin
  • 1/4 C flaked coconut

How to Make It:


  1. Spread the cream cheese on a 12 in serving plate.
  2. Place the peach preserves and cocktail sauce into a small mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk the two ingredients together to incorporate the flavors.
  4. Spread the mixture over the top of the cream cheese. 
  5. Lay the shrimp evenly over the top of the preserve mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the green onions then the coconut over the top.
  7. Refrigerate about 15 minutes before serving.

Serving Size:  16


The cream cheese, preserves and coconut give this spread a slightly sweet taste.  Try apricot preserves in place of the peach preserves.  Coconut chips, which can be found in the baking section of your grocery store, can also be used in place of the flaked coconut.
